Biography

At a time where Female artists of substance seem to be few and far between. Emerges a woman who has established a reputation for her mesmerizing stage presence and inspirational voice.  Noelle Scaggs illustrates the magic of true artistry.  Acclaimed for her contributions as the female vocalist of Los Angeles band, The Rebirth and current band Fitz & The Tantrums.  Noelle has contributed to film soundtracks, writing, and singing in such films as Walk Hard, The Nanny Diaries, and as an actress in Be Cool. Lending her voice to everything from classic Hip-hop hooks, disco jams, and soulful ballads. One can find several recordings featuring this LA based chanteuse with artists such as, Quantic, Mayer Hawthorne, Dilated Peoples,  Guilty Simpson, DJ Rhettmatic (Beat Junkies), The Lions, and Orgone. 
She has also collaborated with hip-hop super group The Black Eyed Peas on several songs, modeled in an art piece for Kanye West, sang backup for Miley Cyrus, hosted Nappy Boy TV with T-Pain for the 2008 VMA’s, and most recently with Damian Marley for his up-coming 2010 release with rapper NAS. 
Like her collaborative efforts, Noelle’s chameleon like approach to music draws on a wealth of influences from soul, hip-hop, funk, and electro.  Creating a blend of music that she likes to call, “AstroPop”.  Her highly anticipated solo debut, “Venting” will feature production credits from many of the artists she has worked with in the past,  along with her own self-production.  Some of them will include, Fitz (Fitz & The Tantrums), Josh One, The Arabian Prince,  Robin Hannibal (Quadron) and Quantic (QSO).
